Presentation of ‘Need For Lead’
As an active participant in this initiative, I am pleased to offer a personal insight into my experience and provide a constructive evaluation of various aspects that have influenced the development of this project. Allow me to share with you not only objective observations but also subjective impressions that enrich my perspective as one of the direct participants.
This project, which ran from November 9, 2023, to the 15th of the same month, focuses on teaching and training aimed at parents of children with disabilities, as well as professionals involved in the education and care of individuals with these characteristics, and those working in related organizations. The stated goal is to promote greater inclusivity and adaptation in society.

Pre-project Logistics
The project began with certain logistical challenges, showing a lack of planning even before its official start. The lack of information regarding the destination and the necessary means of transportation until the day before created a sense of uncertainty, which may have affected the participants’ preparation and comfort.
Location and Accomodation
Despite these initial inconveniences, the chosen location for the activities, the Ecumenical Center ‘Los Rubios’ in El Rincón de la Victoria, proved to be a satisfactory environment. Therefore, we consider it beneficial to highlight how the good food, the comfort of the place, and the available space positively contributed to the development of the project and the participants’ experience.

Organization and Logistics
The organizational disorder, a critical aspect that deserves more attention, negatively affected the efficiency of the project. The lack of clarity in the schedules and the organizers’ lack of knowledge regarding the program they had prepared caused confusion and potentially diminished the quality of the activities.
Project Content
Regarding the content of the Need for Lead project, the theoretical framework planned for such specialized training should have been informative and scientifically rigorous.
Unfortunately, the introductory talk on the second day, which addressed the issue and approach, left much to be desired. The lack of professionalism, the limited scientific rigor, and the introduction of ideologically charged elements, such as feminist and queer topics, may have diverted attention from the central purpose of the project.
Additionally, the presentations were characterized by the extensive use of PowerPoints filled with words and lacking oratory, which in some cases made it difficult to follow and created a somewhat monotonous and soporific atmosphere.
Despite the less-than-optimal presentation, the project has stood out for the quality material it offers. The teachings provided are meaningful and reusable, contributing substantially to the central purpose of the project.
The interaction with the organizers and speakers has been positive, demonstrating their accessibility and friendly attitude.
Time Management
Poor time management has been a constant challenge, forcing adjustments in the schedule. The consequence of this disorder has been the need to sacrifice time allocated to other activities, leisure moments, or even meal periods.
Conclusion
In summary, although the location and purpose of the project are commendable, the execution was affected by significant logistical and organizational issues.
It is crucial to address these challenges to ensure that future Erasmus+ projects reach their full potential in terms of positive impact and educational effectiveness. Clarity in communication, meticulous planning, and a more professional approach to content can substantially improve both the participants’ experience and the project’s outcomes.
In conclusion, the Erasmus+ project ‘Need for Lead’ has been, for me as a participant, a valuable and challenging learning journey.
